What we do
NRCHH has set up a wellbeing and trauma stabilisation space including a coordinated bookings and referral process, and pop up on the ground support stations to assist those affected by the recent flood event which brought destruction to the lives of many in the Northern NSW area.
We currently have a central community healing hub in Lismore, NSW. We aim to have satellite hubs and travelling 'pop-up' hubs for surrounding communities within the Northern Rivers.
The hub is open to all community members/residents, with a focus on providing a safe space grounded in First Nations healing practices and trauma-integrated approaches.
The hub provides THESE HEALING SERVICES:
a quiet and nurturing space to drop in for a yarn or some rest. Just turn up Mondays (10-3), Wednesdays (10-4.30) and Thursdays (10-3), at CASPA, 17 Keen St, Lismore.
We support the community in these offerings.
